About Us

 Rooted in our love for wilderness and the beauty of the natural world, we have been exploring the remote wilderness for nearly three-decades.  We have backpacked, hiked, kayaked, white water rafted and explored thousands of miles of some of the most rugged and remote wilderness areas on the planet.   With an unquenchable drive to experience the peaceful grandeur that our planet has to offer, our designs aim to capture the essence of the wilderness and share it with our clients with our unique line of products.

Wilderness Trading Post is based in Lingít Aaní, the traditional homeland of the Tlingit People. Located in the heart of Southeast Alaska’s Tongass National Forest; and surrounded by lush temperate old-growth rainforest, jagged mountains, sapphire-blue glaciers, and glacially fed fjords, we find inspiration in our daily lives surrounded by the wilderness.
